Case #6
Other -
62-year-old female
History
A 62-year-old female patient both clinically-negative and CT negative for suspected recurrence of peritoneal spread of endometrial cancer based on elevated blood tumor markers.
PET/CT Findings
The PET/CT scan showed significant uptake (SUV=3.5) localized to the lower left quadrant, adjacent to the abdominal wall. In retrospect, the lesion was found on the previous CT scan. A CT-guided biopsy of the lesion was positive.
