Heart Disease - 62-year-old female





History
A 62-year-old female, eight years s/p CABG, six months s/p anterior wall infarction presents with CHF and an EF of 22%.

PET Findings
PET imaging with NH3 and FDG revealed a perfusion–metabolism mismatch consistent with a viable anterior wall.

Change in treatment plan
Coronary arteriography revealed an occluded CAD graft. A second bypass was performed. Six months later this patient was asymptomatic and had an ejection fraction of 47%.
